Some really impressive updates to iPhone apps are being released to take advantage of the larger iPad screen.
A game video that makes a board game look fun to try is Scrabble ($10). This game is not available in Canada yet but neither is the iPad so many releases will probably happen in the month of April. One intriguing feature is the free iPhone rack that lets you use your iPhone with the iPad to sort your tiles. This will be an enlightening test of the iPad ease of use to see how easy it is to setup Scrabble on an iPad with two iPhones for a multiplayer game. Will computer phobes be able to do this without referencing a manual?
New choices for crossword puzzles are also becoming available. Will be interesting to see what new features will be introduced to create an advantage over just using the local newspaper version.
