I was born in Alberta and studied engineering at the University of Calgary. I left to pursue my Electrical Engineering and Computer Science degree at the University of Waterloo because I didn't want to be converted into a chemical engineer on the oil patch. The Internet turned out to be as big a deal as I thought it would.

I graduated during hard times but was fortunate to have a multi-faceted communication career with Bell Canada which combined my passions of engineering, Internet communications, product management, and marketing.

I have lived in Ottawa where I married the love of my life . I have been happily married for 30 years. We are both very proud of our three children.

I am currently living the dream of continuing to work in communications in my own company, Sharp Innovation Solutions. I am applying innovation to help small businesses and individuals keep moving forward and communicate to connect with people to achieve their objectives.
